The Updated UHS Code of Conduct

Cover of UHS Code of Conduct documentThe UHS Code of Conduct outlines our expectations of those who work on behalf of UHS and supports a work environment that puts patient care first. It is intended to promote honest and ethical conduct, compliance with all applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations, and reporting of potential concerns.

This resource was recently updated to make it even easier for employees to access information on how to uphold our commitment to compliance and ethical behavior. Key Points to Know, realistic Q&A scenarios, helpful contacts, and tips and tools are prominently featured throughout.

“The Code of Conduct outlines our commitment to ethical behavior and serves as a guide for appropriate decision making and a resource for answering questions and addressing concerns,” said Jim Passey, Vice President, UHS Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer. “I encourage everyone to take time to review and understand how this resource can help them protect the health, safety and security of our patients and each other.”
