Get to Know Foundations Recovery Network, UHS’ National Addiction Services Brand

Foundations Recovery Network is the UHS brand for treatment of co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health treatment. Across our multiple dedicated SUD facilities, we offer evidence-based treatment across the continuum including medically supervised detoxification and stabilization services, residential care and day treatment options. Our extensive national network also offers specialty programs for licensed professionals, Active Military and Veterans, LGBTQ+ populations, as well as faith-based and holistic programming inside a system of care that has demonstrated strong positive, lasting results.

Foundations is committed to helping individuals and their families find healing from co-occurring disorders so that they can live healthy, fulfilling lives in recovery. We do that through comprehensive integrated treatment and plans customized to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Affiliated Programs

Affiliated programs are embedded SUD offerings at UHS behavioral health facilities that also offer other service lines and programming. We are pleased to share that our first affiliates are:

  • Alliance Health Center – Meridian, Mississippi
  • Intermountain Hospital – Boise, Idaho
  • La Amistad Behavioral Health Services – Maitland, Florida
  • Wekiva Springs Center – Jacksonville, Florida

UHS behavioral health facilities with SUD services are invited to inquire about becoming a Program of Foundations Recovery Network. Inclusion requires adherence to all elements of defined Core Standards. Benefits include listing on the Foundations website, use of the Foundations badge on facility website (example: Alliance Health Center site), inclusion in national marketing campaigns and initiatives, access to alumni services brand and app and inclusion in the Nashville call center.

Post-Treatment Recovery

Foundations remains committed after treatment ends. We believe that lifetime relationships are key to long-term recovery. That’s why Foundations keeps alumni engaged and connected through our Life Challenge program. Recovery is ongoing and navigating through life in a new way requires encouragement and planning. Through these aftercare programs, we’re able to support individuals and their families in recovery, helping them sustain the ground they’ve gained.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • – National statistics show that approximately 21.5 million adults in the US experience both mental illness and addiction, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
  • – Among adults with SUD, 37.9% also have a mental illness. Research suggests that it is better to treat these health issues at the same time rather than separately, making the treatments more effective and improving health outcomes.
